Sending Data to Another Module

The Send to Another module option allow users to copy information from one module (source) to another (destination). For example, you might want to send data from the Feedback module to the Risk module if a grievance submitted by patient reveals that a Risk incident actually took place. When data is sent to another module, this will automatically link the two files.

In addition to the permissions below, the user must also have file entry permissions for a particular module in order to select it as a destination.

Prerequisites: You must have the 'File Info Center', 'View File', 'Edit File', and 'Send Data to Another Module' functions enabled for your role.

Note: The Send Data to Another Module option is not available for responsive forms.
